Welcome to the ALFC RPers. We are a club of advanced and literate role players who love to role play on forums and/or in chats. Here at the ALFC RPers you will be able to meet others like yourself, RP, hang out and maybe even get your RP characters drawn for you. Either way, you'll have a lot of fun if you join, so if you are interested, please keep on reading.


What do we consider advanced/literate?
Advanced - adjective - at a higher level in training or knowledge or skill; "an advanced degree"; "an advanced text in physics"; "special seminars for small groups of advanced students at the University" (Dictionary.com)

Literate - adjective - Able to read and write. (Dictionary.com)

And now for own definition. We see literate as someone who knows the basic rules of forum and chat role playing. They know their grammar and spelling and can post at least one decent sized paragraph each post.

After literate we accept people who are up to the advanced level. (Literate/Intermediate/Advanced)

What we see as advanced is someone who knows the rules of role playing inside out and usually they try nad put as much description and detail into their posts as they possibly can. So that means that they can produce three decent sized paragraphs each post or more.

How to Join
To join, all you have to do is send a note with the word 'Join' in the title. Unlike other clubs though, we do require you to include something in the message. Just to make sure that you are literate - advanced, we would like you to include some samples of your RPing abilities. It would also be nice to let us know how long you have been RPing for.

And that is about it. We will then let you kow whether you have been accepted or not. If you have, we do ask you to devwatch us and we will devwatch you. We also ask you to put our icon or name in either your signature or somewhere in your journal. If you do not get accepted, then you will be able to reapply a week later.
